Hanmer Springs is the perfect getaway for outdoor lovers. Hanmer Heritage Forest is full with walking tracks and mountain bike tracks, with walking tracks suitable for all levels from short strolls to all day hikes.

Hanmer Springs Massage and Beauty located on Jollies Pass Rd who offer a range of treatments including the indulgent hot stone massage, The Spa is located next to the Thermal Pools and Wisteria Cottage on Conical Hill Road.
Hanmer also has a Nature Park for the family and quilt shop at Wai ariki Nature Park on Rippingale Road.
A wide range of restaurants are available from a pub meal to Indian or fine dining to fish and chips. If you are in the mood for eating in for the night, most of the restaurants do takeaways as well.
