KNVB wants to organize Nations League finals

The KNVB wants next summer the final tournament of the League Of Nations organize. There are also other countries that are throwing a throw at organizing this football event.

Australia, Poland and Wales are also candidates. Which country will host the Nations League finals will be announced by UEFA in January 2023.

The Nations League final tournament will take place from 14 to 18 June. If the KNVB wins the bid, the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam and the Rotterdam Kuip are the most likely venues.

Earlier bid was rejected

In september 2020, the KNVB also made an official bid to UEFA to host the 2021 Nations League Finals. The venues were then to become the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam and the Rotterdam Kuip.

The bid was then established in cooperation with the municipalities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Stadion Feijenoord and with support from the Ministry of VWS.
